Old Java is one of the most distinctive coffees in our range, and for good reason. Sourced from the Indonesian island of Java — one of the world's oldest and most celebrated coffee-growing regions — these beans are aged for an extended period before roasting, a traditional process that transforms the cup in ways that fresh-crop coffees simply cannot replicate.

The result is a coffee of remarkable depth: very low acidity, a powerful, full flavour, and a clean, lingering finish with absolutely no bitterness or aftertaste. The ageing process draws out earthy, woody complexity while mellowing any harshness, leaving something smooth, rich, and deeply satisfying.
