A little about our your blends

Crema Aroma Roast
A gorgeously dark roast, with a long lasting creamy texture. With hints of chocolate giving off a strong aroma. An Italian favourite.

Premium Bar Darker Roast
The big hit. Coffee to awaken your senses! Full bodied dark roast. Strong caramel undertones and amazing aroma.

Jemala Full Blend Roast
Amazing depth, creamy texture and cocoa overtones. This stunning full roast coffee is blended with arabica and robusta beans.

Fiori Coffee
To grow the leaves that will later become Matcha, layer of shape are added to the fields a month before cultivation, eventually blocking 90% of the sunlight.

Moka Italia Roast
Tasting of a gentle, sweet acidic aroma of cocoa, it leaves a rich, deep flavour that lingers modestly on the palette.

Barbosa Original
Thick body and nuanced overtones of chocolate and bittersweet cocoa. A lovely lingering taste on the palette without any bitterness.

How we get you up & running
The process that's worked for a hundred years...
Step 1.
Come and say hello!
The start is simple. Visit us! We can be in the office 7 days a week, all you have to do is let us know when you'd like to visit and we'll make sure we're there. Come along, talk us through your plans, business & intentions (over a coffee, of course) and we'll put a plan together to get you the coffee and service you need!

Step 2.
Taste & select your blend
While you're on your way here, we'll fire up our in-house roastery (a roastery that can roast up for 4 tonnes of coffee every day) and we'll ensure you can taste and try the freshest possible coffee we have, before turning our attention to selecting you a single origin or blend that you think will sell. Whilst single origin coffee at Herbert and ward are fabulous ,there is something amazing about creating a blend. 80”% arabicas 20 % robusta or the reverse or any amalgamation of Arabica and robusa coffee from Herbert and Ward produces the most awesome coffees.

Step 3.
Branding & business
With your blends selected and the business matters handled (such as bag sizes), it's time to get creative. Take on the responsibility of your own logo, website and marketing, or let us do it for you with our graphic designers and marketing team. From social media marketing to label and logo design, take advantage of their input to create a truly inventive brand.

And upwards
With your new venture launched and your business scaling, we're always there to support you. Our supply volumes are completely dependent on your sales, so there's no pressure to hit quotas, but when we're able to share nearly 100 years of knowledge, give you on-site barista training and help you sell more, we can all be confident that our work together will be a success!
